Summer Bucket List/ Spring Goals Revisited

Life According to Steph

For full explanations of these goals, you can see the original post here.

Closet. Cleanout: Complete!
I was able to donate 5 bags of clothing/stuffs to the vets, and made ~$40 from ThredUp (that is my referral link- you get $10 and so do I if you sign up and spend it). Woot woot!

Download Microsoft Word/Office/Whatever: Complete!
I wanted to do this because I realized that my laptop didn't have it, and I wanted to update my resume. I've since realized that I can do so with Google docs, so no need to get a new program.

Send in my passport registration: Complete!
Sent it in and got it back- ready to plan my next (international) vacation!

Get back in the habit of meal planning at least once a month: Fail
Um, I don't think I even attempted this one. Oops.

Try a new recipe once a month: Complete!
20-Minute Tuscan Chicken with Pasta
Crockpot shredded chicken (for tacos)
Some broccoli/pasta dish. Sorry, I can't find the recipe and forgot to take a pic of finished product.

Finish the craft I started 3 (4?) months ago: Complete!

Fix Screen Door: Fail.
I just didn't make this a priority. Maybe I'll get to it this summer.

Spring Shearing: Complete!
Chopped off about 10" and loving my shorter 'do!

Pay Off One Student Loan: Complete!
This was the one I was most excited about. I finally bit the bullet and took an offer from the company handling my loan to make a (highly reduced) payment to get rid of one of my pesky student loans.

Administrative Crap: Complete!
I had to finish cleaning up accounts after I lost my debit card,... and then my Groupon account was hacked, so I had to do it all over again. Fun times. But I think I've cleared everything up now and reconnected my auto-payments with my new card.

  1. I love your list! That all sounds so fun! I've still never been to a winery or seen any of OITNB. Those both need to change. Good luck & great job on you spring goals!

  9. Let me know when you're coming to see the Phillies!

I think you did a great job. Screen door, meh, it can wait. And meal planning...I hate that in the summer. I am throwing things together.

  10. Great job on your goals. I find meal planning a pia during the summer. haha To be honest, in the summer, I'm not as hungry as in the winter. So I feel like I end up wasting alot of food which I hate. Oh visiting the Highline is on my list the next time I'm in NYC.

I haven't made my monthly goals yet, I guess I will probably this weekend... but I'm hoping to make a little more time for reading in the next few weeks. I've been lacking that time. XO - Alexandra

  12. You did really well on your spring goals! Love the Renaissance Faire. We've got one close in Wisconsin but the summer is so busy looks like we won't be getting there this summer.
