I'll say my mom. She has made many (I repeat for emphasis, many) mistakes, but she always keeps her head up and perserveres, and for that I give lots of credit and kudos.

Umm I don't have any blog friends really.

...wow you can tell a man wrote these...so stereotypical. I'm very happy with my weight thankyouverymuch. And maybe we would like to look better than "just fine" Mr. Ian.

4 - What's the one thing you wish guys could understand about you?
Heather over here said it perfectly: "Just because I'm not "super girly" doesn't mean I don't like to get dressed up and look fabulous every once in a while!" Thanks Heather!

Don't have any, pretty sure I don't want any.

6 - What was the best year of your life and why?
Junior/senior year college. Turned 21 (finally legal!), was in a great relationship, *thought* I had great friends, was doing well in college,...life was gooood. Then again, hindsight is 20/20

7 - Name three things you would do if you were a man for one day.
Pick up the heaviest thing I could (I'm weak), pee standing up, and have sex. I would wanna know how a guy sees/feels sex.

Updates:
Tuesday was my godson's birthday. I forgot to buy/send a gift. But his mama never called/texted me back so I'm kinda pissed about that which hasn't exactly kicked me into high gear to go buy them presents.
 
Thursday I paid allll my bills. YAY.
 
Friday I finally turned in my tax papers. MORE YAY! Then I went out for GNO with my friend, in the rain, and the line to get in was one and a half NYC blocks. NYC blocks are not like normal blocks. In other words...it was hella long. So we went to a nearby bar/restaurant. And then we went to a second bar. And there I left my debit card. Boo. Thank goodness my friend was still there and was able to pick it up for me, but I have spent teh weekend card-less. No likey. And now I have to figure out how to meet up with her.
 
Yesterday was spent nursing my hangover. More boo.
 
Today the rain finally stopped for a few hours, and C took me shopping (cause ya know, I was card-less). I went to Victoria Secrets and bought this RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME BRA. It's The Very Sexy Push Up Bra. OMG. I actually have cleavage! Love. It. And I was able to use my VS gift card that I got for Christmas, and I had a coupon for $10/any bra, and free underwear with bra purchase! AND I got a rewards card for at least $10/off (tohugh could be anywhere from $10-$500/off) an item in April!
 
And then we went to Old Navy, and I bought 3 really cute boys t-shirts for myself. Yes, I am going to wear boys t-shirts because their graphic t's were so much cuter than the ones offered for girls. Annnnd I plan on buying a whole wardrobe of pants from there when I get paid because they have some that are really cute.
 
Half of tonight was spent trying to get songs OFF my Ipod. Seriously, I don't know why it is such a complicated process. So now I think I did it, but for some reason the title of some songs will show up but there's no song actually attached- and I don't know how to get the title off as well. So annoying!
 
Tomorrow back to work. Bah. C doesn't have work. He had a 4 day weekend for no good reason. I am obviously in the wrong profession.

I have totally been slacking over here. I missed Post-It Note Tuesday AND Keely's questions! Guess I gotta wait til next Tuesday... :sigh:

In other news, last Saturday was the Hoboken St. Patty's Day Parade! I missed the parade...again...but it was definitely fun! Well, until night time when I fell asleep on the train home, wound up at the stop after mine with a dead phone, and had to borrow someone's phone to call C to pick me up. And then C was like "Hey, who's phone did you use?" I was like "I dunno, some stranger." The person turned out to be C's old student and C still had his phone number! Random!

Got to see some old friends, which was very cool. People from highs school who I literally ahven't seen in 8 years- they were surprised how I "changed." I was straight-edge in high school haha. And I danced...I haven't really danced
in.

long.
It was great. And then drunkenly ate tacos from the Taco Truck. I love the Taco Truck! I don't understand people who don't like food from a cart. It's ALLLL GOOOD!

Sunday I woke up with a mystery bruise on my knee. Apparently I fell over a raised manhole in the street, yelled at it "for being raised and not in the ground where it belongs" while I was on the phone with C (which is the only reason I know how I got the bruise!). Cops were in full force. We had heard rumors that they were going to be giving out mega-fines, like $6,000, for "drunk and disorderly conduct" (basically peeing in the street). My friend actually got a $2,000 fine for jaywalking!! And somehow I fell over a manhole in the middle of the main drag and got away with just a bruise- yay!

This Saturday we were supposed to be going to the Sleaside St. Patty's Day Parade, but it's cancelled due to rain :( So we're going to the South Philly one instead! I got my necklaces, and now just need a hat for C (I drunkenly lost his on Saturday- he didn't care, but I still feel bad. It was a cute hat!).

And tonight I'm heading out with my friend J to Girl's Night Out in NYC. It's basically a convention of make-up and shopping,...with free martinis/cosmos! Very excited- I've literally been waiting for a year to find someone who would go with me!

In terms of my goals for last week, I did hand in my insurance papers for work, and got my taxes in. My tax guy will be working on them today. Hooray! And I made another payment for the credit card, but won't fully pay it off til next week. I spent a little too much last weekend at the club ($40 entrance fee. I DON'T EVEN PAY THAT MUCH IN NYC!!! REDIC!), and wanted to have a little cushion in case this weekend gets crazy too! I'm very happy that C will be joiing me this week though (last weekend he had to work on Sat...boo).

Today was a productive and non-boring day at work.
Spent the morning going through boxes of papers to decide if they could be shredded or not. Then I cut my finger (papercut..owiiie) so I stopped. Went outside for a little bit, ate lunch, then went to ShopRite (yes, for work). Came back, put stuff away, and spent the last 1 1/2 wrapping presents while listening to my Ipod.

Seriously,...why is curling an Olympic sport?? This is the first time I think I've ever actually seen curling...and I saw A LOT of curling this Olympic season. I mean, I understand how to win,...but who decides "Hmm I'm going to give up being a ridiculously good ice skater and become a "Pro Curler". WTH?!

I was REALLY EXCITED to see Nelly Furtado to perform in the Opening Ceremony. She is my favorite favorite singer. No, I am not being sarcastic at all. I had a "Nelly Wall" when I lived at home...details on that coming probably never...unless someone asks...

I am really excited to see Chad Ochocinco on Dancing with the Stars!

3. Have you ever snuck in 'outside' food into a theater?

Yes, I almost always sneak food/ drink in- why pay $5 for a candy that you can buy down the street for $1? Actually during Avatar not only did we sneak in candy, but also beer! The beauty of having a big purse!

4. Have you ever made out in a theater?

Yup

5. What is the 'farthest' you have gone in a theater?

Oral...best. movie. ever!

I am totally sucking at NaBloPoMo already. Darn it.

However, I DID find out that I've passed the probationary 3-month mark at my new(ish) job and can now finally get health/dental insurance and pre-tax commuter card! WHOOOO!

Also, I called to find out the balance on my credit card...totally do-able with this upcoming paycheck!

And, I have been looking into my tax paperwork. I don't understand it all, which gets frustrating, but from what I can see I may be able to apply for 2 different kinds of rebates, which would be freakin sweet!

Just realizing what I've accomplished already this week makes me a little giddy. I'm sure I can reach (most of) those weekly goals. The tax one I am going to *try* to complete, but my tax guy lives kind of far, and if I have to go see him instead of just phone calls and faxes, it may not be feasible to do afterwork,...but Sunday still counts as this week right?!?
