X-Rated Confessions

Disclaimer:  If you don't want to read about sex on this lovely hump day, please click on the "x" on the top right. I won't be mad, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. For everyone else, some x-rated confessions!

+ "O" faces and sounds are weird. Which is why I usually find myself ducking under a pillow, burying my head into their chest, or at least turning away and trying to STFU when it happens

+ I received a vibrator from a close friend for my 21st birthday. For some reason, it's never worked for me

+ I lost mine one Halloween in college. I was dressed up as school girl Britney Spears. It was odd because I walked into the pre-college summer camp, met my counselor for the first time, and immediately thought "I'm gonna lose it to him" and did

+ We're still friends, though now he is married with a baby girl of his own

+ He's 3 years older than me, and stood up for me when rumors popped up about me. He actually punched the kid who started the rumor in the face

If staring at you longer than I should means I'm in trouble again, then Yes.. Yes, I'm in trouble...again.

+ I've had 2 scares where I had to take a pregnancy test. Thankfully I was just late. After the second time, I got on the pill AND made sure they wrapped it up.

+ I've never understood the allure of sex on a beach. Seriously- there's sand everywhere, you're close to the sea and it's dark- you don't know what's in there at night; it kind of creeps me out. I'm fine with doing it in places other than a bed, but no beaches, thanks

Weekend Updates- I Threw A Surprise Party

This weekend really started on RJ's birthday, which was on Thursday, and continued throughout the weekend. The whole weekend was spent eating, partying and/or visiting with friends, and napping/sleeping. With the exception of Saturday morning when I live-tweeted going to the DMV to get my license renewed. PS- when the hell did they start with this "no smiling with teeth" rule? That is so ridiculous!! Anyway- I'm tired to say the least. So here are some pictures:

My surprise party was a real surprise- success!

So happy these fools came out

Turnt down for shots

BFFS since they were in diapers

Unable to get a normal face... le sigh

He really loved his presents

So much that he may have gotten a wee bit emotional lol

How was your weekend?

Brain Dump Confessions

+My coworker is constantly on personal phone calls... in Polish. It wouldn't be as bad if I could at least eavesdrop, but no. Headphones it is.

+Another coworker was cutting her nails at her desk. This seriously grossed me out. I called her out on it, and she was all "No, just the one because it broke!" Bitch I heard you. cut. all. of. them. ICK.

+I get irrationally nervous when there is a long line behind me and the people are rushing me to place my order. I literally repeat what I want the entire time I'm in line so I don't mess up when I get to the counter.

+This might be due to the fact that when I was in Philly at Pat's ordering a cheesesteak for the first time. I literally got yelled at for not ordering correctly. In front of a large group of people. I was absolutely mortified.

legit sign at Pat's
+When people link up and the post has nothing to do with the link up, I also get irrationally mad.

+See also when they link up their entire blog and not just the one post.

+Linking up a playlist makes me insanely excited.

+So does finding new music.

+I am throwing my first surprise party tomorrow and I'm kind of nervous it won't turn out as awesome as I hope because the Birthday Boy (RJ) will already be at the venue... and his friends are coming later. Like, 2-ish hours later. And I can't think of a way to stop him from going to the venue (bar) because he gets into my town (via train) before I get off work, and doesn't have keys to my place, so what else is he supposed to do?

+I made brownies tonight, for him, but they are also my favorite and smelling them and seeing them and not being able to have even one for at least 2 days (because I have no time to make them tomorrow) is somewhat torturous.

Weekend Updates

My weekend was pretty quiet. I thought my grandpa was going to be staying with me, so I didn't make any other plans. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. So, Friday was spent doing laundry, Saturday I attempted to get a haircut but the place was booked, so it was spent running errands during the day and going to a friend's pool party at night. Sunday morning I went to a flea market, but it was lame, and the rest of the afternoon was spent doing work followed by a delicious dinner at this ridiculously good local Portuguese restaurant called Tero's. Their seafood is amazing- and check out the portions! I got at least 3 meals out of this order!

pool party fun: sneak attack- Geronimoooo!

House Special: lobster, clams, and shrimp over linguine- yum!

Weekend Updates: Lobsterfest

This weekend was absolutely perfect. Saturday while RJ went off to some Tough Mudder Race with his boys, I met my girls for our Annual Girls Beach Day. This year it just so happened to be the same weekend as Lobsterfest in Bradley Beach, NJ. I was running late (as per usual) so I took the train in. It was only a few short blocks to the beach which was awesome. We started at the beer garden and took turns getting up to get food. In all, I ate: Lobster Rolls (yes plural- so freakin good!), Lobster Mac and Cheese, Lobster quesadillas, and buffalo fried calamari. The only thing that wasn't delicious was the calamari- they had run out and took it off the fryer or whatever before it was really crispy... Hmph. Oh well.

After filling up on foods and beer we made out way to the beach. I'm not one to really go in the ocean, I was quite happy just sitting in the sand and soaking up some rays, especially since this was my first time getting to the beach this summer!

Girls Day!

Sunday was a lazy day, since we were both tired from Saturday. Lots of TV (yay Germany), some True Blood, and Chinese takeout. Maxing and chillaxing.

Now in just trying to get through this week so I can spend some time with my grandpa this weekend!

Confessions

My grandpa is visiting from Puerto Rico. We (my mom and I) just found this out last weekend. He is  suppose to be staying with me from Thursday- Friday. And then we are suppose to go down the shore Sat-Sun. However, he is currently staying with my aunt in Long Island and has not called or answered his phone since Sunday night, so I really have no idea what the hell is going on with this plan and it's giving me anxiety.

Zooey Deschanel

It's also giving me anxiety because I have about 11 billion things to do before his impending arrival. Unless he's not coming. In which I have like, 2 things to do.

Having a lot to do does not motivate me... it makes me want to do absolutely nothing. Until the last minute.

Eternally Wanderlyn • ROAMING THE EARTH SINCE 1985

I just realized yesterday that my driver's license expired... in May. I don't drive, so it's not completely terrible, but I do get carded often. Luckily no one has noticed yet *knock on wood*

I finally went to the dermatologist to figure out wtf is going on with my skin and I was right- I gots the eczema. They prescribed this cream which has been working wonderfully; they also prescribed a special shampoo which makes my scalp feel like it's on fire so... I only used it once. I am not a fan of pain.

Favorite Surprise:
I sold my first item on Poshmark! I am so excited and can't wait to add more items to be sold!

Favorite [FREE] Find:
The only thing I feel like my apartment was missing (other than a microwave) was a coffee table. I had been planning on hitting up some yard sales this weekend to find one. Last night, I went out to get some meds from the pharmacy, and it looked like someone was throwing out their entire living room. There were dressers, lamps, couches, pillows, and... the below coffee and end tables which I scooped up and carried back to my apartment! Hurray!

Favorite Recent Purchase:
I took advantage of the Victoria's Secret Semi- Annual and picked up this bikini top for only $18!

Strappy Add-2-Cups Push-up Halter Top Bombshell Swim Tops

Favorite Upcoming Event:
I will be wearing that above beauty tomorrow when I head to the beach for our annual Girls Beach Day! It's my first time heading down the shore this year and I am so excited to spend some quality time with my girls!

July 4th Weekend

What a fantabulous freakin weekend. These are the kind of weekends I wish would never end. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the time off with great friends and delicious food was much needed and just perfect. And now it's Monday and I'm sitting at work with a heap of work to be done and problems to solve and I just want to rewind time and be back here:

sporting my red white and blue!

The host/birthday boy and hostess had a lil too much fun!

Happy birthday America!
Not pictured: Any food (oops), beer pong tournament, backyard soccer, RJ climbing a fence to get said soccer ball after he kicked it into the neighbor's yard, fireworks, my second BBQ outfit (which I loved- hmph), further drunken shenanigans that need not be shared publicly...ever.

How did you celebrate the holiday?
