This weekend was filled with babies for me and C. We had 1, 2, and 4 year old birthday parties to attend.
The 2 and 4 year old were together, as they are brother and sister, and C is the godfather to the girl, G-Baby. Now that was a fun birthday party. They had a moon bounce, face painter, and caricature artist for the kiddies, and tequila and a keg for the grownups!
But it's true what they say... "1 tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila, floor!". Except I had at least 4 tequila shots, and it was my ass that was closer to the floor...booty dancing commenced. With the baby daddy's cousin or sister or something, who is very gay, and has (had?) a crush on me. Who I was nervous of half the night because I thought she didn't like me anymore (she still does, or did, at least before I started grinding up on her....though if I recall correctly, she didn't seem to mind that either). I'm not sure if this was before, or after, I was puking my brains out on the side of their house. Which is terrible because the food was absolutely a-maz-ing.
Ooops.
Whatever, who ever thought it was a good idea to bring out the bottle of tequila anyway?!
Sunday was the 1 yr old birthday party. OMG.
First of all, it was held at a fire house/community center. It was fully catered. They had this woman who came in and was singing ryhmes, throwing scarves around, and letting the kids bang on drums and other instruments and scream "happy birrrrrrffffffdaaaaaay" into the mic. Hot mess.
Then there was the 30-min long video montage of the baby's first year of life. I kid you not. Pictures from each and every month. Now, I'm all for a few cute baby pics, and a video..well spendid. I'll even admit to getting a little teary eyed during the birth and 1st month. But it was too long. I mean, there's only so much a one year old can do...sit, roll over, smile, cry...and that's about it. Way too long.
That was pretty much it. Though the guys in our group were hilarious. They were kinda standing in a circle, looking around like "oh God,...that's gonna be us soon, this is our future....OMG..." C even mentioned that it was the "Face of Death" and right then they all turned to one of their buddies, who was once a drinking machine and now a father to another one year old, to see him tickling and gigling his baby girl.
Hmmm...typed out it doesn't seem as funny as it was. Eh, guess you had to be there.
Sunday was also me and C's year and a half of dating. So we went out for a date night on Friday. We went to NYC to see Cirque du Soleil's OVO. What an awesome show! All the people in the show were dressed up like insects, the music was fantastic, and the stunts...ooooooh the stunts! I think the trampoline part was my favorite. I love Cirque. Here's the trailer:

Hmm...I don't think I'd be a great screamer, so suspense and horror are out...I think an actiony-romance...like Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Yes, several times actually. I'm fine if a go with guys who I am not dating. I thought I would be one of those cool chicks that could go to the strip club with her boyfriend and be completely fine, but I realized, much to my surprise and regret, and through the hard way, that I am definitely not at all cool with that. Probably would have gone much better if my man did not decide to get a lapdance while I was there, right next to him, and continually feel allllllll up on the stripper. So not cool.

Yes, several. One of my favorite old ones was Raisinet haha.

Daniella. I hate hate HATE being called that. It's not my name, so please don't call me that!

For some reason my handy dandy copy/paste shortcut is not working. Tres annoying! When I come back here to paste, it asks me if I want to allow the website to see my clipboard. If I say "allow", it restarts my Internet Explorer. If I say "don's allow", it doesn't paste. If I just x the box out, it also doesn't paste. Anyone know how to fix this??

I was never with a hairy chest guy until now...and I love it! No, not a sweater of hair, just enough to be all manly-like :)

Well being that I currently don't drive, n/a. But when I did, if it was yellow, I would speed up if I thought I could make it.

Blog- I like that people may be even slightly interested in what I have to say! Plus, everyone knows Facebook if for stalking, and I don't tweet enough to care if people are actually paying attention to my tweets.

C, good hair days, cute outfits, and wearing just about anything from Victoria's Secret...
6. I get excited when...?
I see a shiny object?! I'm very excitable. Here are a few examples...
- finding money in old coat/pants pockets
- physically crossing things off my to-do list

- C plans a date night...actuallly, just going on a date night...and dressing up

I don't like being cold, but I do like just about everything else outdoors. I tend to get cabin fever if I'm indoors too long/much...so I guess more outdoorsy.

I'll take the million...I would love to pay off some debts, and I like the outdoors more anyway!
Oh boy...I have been neglecting my poor blog!
Last weekend was awesome...C and I went to America's First Zoo - Philadelphia! It was so much fun.
Except for the fact that we didn't see any elephants - they were removed. Apparently they needed more room, and Philly was not able to raise enough funds, so they went to Pittsburgh and other places. Also, there was a polar bear, that was just chillin in 70 degree weather. I really couldn't understand whyyy the polar bear, who is used to/made for cold, was layin out in that heat. And the penguins...they were just chillin too. No ice anywhere, not in a completely closed off case (I figured maybe they would crank up the AC or something)...nope, just chillin. And they didn't have the cute texedo penguins :(
But overall, it was great. AND we got to feed the lorikeets! At one point I got 2, but I didn't freak out- and they were nibbling my hand!
We got a lot of great pics, but I don't want to post them all here. Ya'll know what a giraffe looks like...I hope!
Anywho, this weekend I'm headed to my alma mater. Should be a great time. It's their Diversity Weekend. They'll be hosting a talent show that I was part of creating called "Spectacular, Spectacular!" (they really need to come up with a better name though), and the next day will be the International Bazaar, which is basically a street fair style event where the booths are run by various multicultural organizations with food, dance, a fashion show, arts n crafts, etc. So excited to see all the changes and show C where I went to school!

Ha! I was just thinking of this the other day...I kissed a boy in his treehouse when I was in probably 5th grade. He ran away screaming! I was in 7th grade when I had my first *memorable* kiss ;)

C is off this week for spring break. So today he woke up at 8:30 to go to the beach to lay out and drink screwdrivers all day because it's going to be 87 degrees. I'm super jealous. And when I told my coworkers? They told me I should've taken off and gone with him. Gah!
But I'm very excited for tonight. I am going to start a new part time job for a dear friend. I'm going to be her slavebitch personal assistant! And she'll pay me basically whatever I want (within reason, obvi), and most of the time I can work from home! Hooray!

Last night. We were watching Life on Discovery Channel (such a great show!!), and I fell asleep (twice actually) in his arms on the couch. The best part was he carried me to bed!

Umm...I think when my friends M&D came over for game night in January.

A ring that my mom bought me a few years ago.

It is rare that I go out in public all dressed up! I'm more of a jeans/Tshirt/lipgloss kinda gal. Today I'm wearing a skirt though, and everyone was shocked at work!

Mint! I feel like the fruity ones lose flavor too quickly.

Nelly Furtado! lovelovelove her! When I was in high school I actually had to what I referred to as a "Nelly Wall" in my bedroom- a whole half of a wall was covered in pics of her from magazines/newspapers from ceiling to floor. I still have most of it intact though packed away somewhere.

Funny I was just discussing htis last week with someone when I, in a moment of weakness, was going to contact her. Yes, the person is female. We lost touch over a really, really stupid fight in which she chose to go on a date instead of coming to my bff from home's birthday party which she promised up and down she would come to. I got super pissed because my home-bff kept asking me all night where college-bff was, and becuase she really chose a date with someone she literally met 5 days earlier while drunk at a NYE party- she couldn't even remember what he looked like. I thought that was incredibly lame. Usually when we fought, regardless of who was wrong, I would go back and apologize or just start talking to her again. This time I refused. Apparently our friendship didn't mean as much to her as it did to me, because I haven't heard from her since.
