I feel like September 1st is more of a "new year" to me than January 1st. Maybe because even though summer is not "officially" over, it always marked back to school time, and time to scale back the relaxation and lazy days and ramp up productivity and getting things done. I don't make new year's resolutions, but I'm getting back in to monthly goals. First though, let's see how I did with my Summer Bucket List!

- Go "glamping" and rafting down the Delaware River - check!
- Make a new dessert (moving to fall)
- Have a Tourist NYC Day (moving to fall)
- Plan birthday vacation - check and booked! Jamaica here I come!
- Get "sand flu" at least once - check!
- Walk/hike the trails on Garret Mountain
- Go to a Phillies/Mets MLB Game- tickets purchased for 9/6, which is still technically summer!
- Visit a new brewery (moving to fall)
- See a double feature - check and check!
- Check out a new town/weekend getaway - check!
- Visit the NJ State Fair
- Go to 2 concerts - check! We saw John Mayer and Chris Stapleton!
- Celebrate Blue's Birthday - check! She had a great time lounging/daydrinking by the pool and a fancy-ish dinner!
- Try deep sea fishing (moving to fall)
- Read 5 books - check! You can see some of what I read here last month here!
- Work on scrapbook/photo album with Blue- in progress!
- Watch fireworks - check!
- Binge 2 shows: - check! Stranger Things, Queer Eye, and Orange is the New Black
- Shop at the Meadowlands Flea Market (moving to fall)
- Host a "wine down" Pedi Party
I did an update last month where I provided more details on the 10/20 items I checked off the list. Since then I only completed one more item off the bucket list, but those that I can move to fall, I will!

Fall Bucket List
Host Annual Halloween Party
Check out a new winery or brewery
Make pumpkin pie or a new dessert
Have an NYC Tourist Day OR weekend getaway
Complete 5 things from my 101 list
Host a game night
Try deep sea fishing
Shop at the Meadowlands Flea Market
Decorate apartment for Fall
Attend NY Comic-Con
Really hoping I get to check a majority of things off of this list! I think the most challenging one will be the deep sea fishing and the getaway, since those involve other people and a bit of prior planning. Though I haven't even looked at my 101 list (let alone share them) in months, so maybe that will be the hardest one! Anyway, here's what I hope to do in the less fun, more productive list of goals for just this month.

- *private goal*
- Clean out and reorganize kitchen
- Track my spending
- Re-evaluate my budget
- Read 5 books for Erin's 11.0 Challenge
- Schedule Vietnam Veterans donation pick-up
- Scan laptop for viruses; back up data/pics
What's on your fall bucket list?
Do you have any goals this month?
Linking up with Emily and the Peaceful Posse!
