Watching: Movies- A Wrinkle In Time. I read it for the first time before seeing the movie and though I liked it, I think I preferred the movie. *Gasp!* It was just so beautifully done! TV- Binged (and loved) Everything Sucks! on Netflix. Now trying to get in to The Good Place. I also want to check out some of the new shows that just premiered like Champions, Splitting Up Together, and Alex, Inc.
Listening To: Get Out of Your Own Way- U2 featuring Afrojack. So upbeat!
Making: Vegetarian Enchiladas Verdes tonight for dinner! If it's any good, I'll share the recipe!
Drinking: all the craft beer! A friend of mine went to Vermont recently and brought back this loot! My favorite name was "Kittens on Parade" by Magic Hat lol. We got the first 6-pack sold! My favorite in taste was called Inertia by Burlington Beer Company. The double stout tasted like coffee, vanilla, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch! If you love craft beers too, connect with me on Untappd!
Buying: I finally made it to the new Cost Plus World Market store that opened up near me. I picked up Pocky's, Cafe du Monde coffee grinds, and this 1-minute microwavable Indian Spinach Dal to put on top of rice for a quick meal. It was actually pretty tasty! I also recently purchased this hat from Ginger Snaps Jewelry. You see that little anchor? That's a snap, and it's interchangeable with literally hundreds of different "snaps," like those Keep Collective bracelets where you can change the square charms in them. I absolutely adore it. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic before this went live. My b.
Feeling: Generally underwhelmed and disappointed. I'm OVER winter. It's gray and cold and rainy and just blah. And then my favorite local burger and shake restaurant closed unexpectedly so I can't even drown my sorrows in an avocado burger and Oreo milkshake #firstworldproblems
Showering: The skies have been showering us with rain and snow and everything in between. Hoping for LOTS of May flowers (if they don't drown... sigh).
Expecting: More snow this weekend and Monday. Oh, joy. *sarcasm*
Linking up with Anne!
This stupid snow is just on my nerves now!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're getting more snow coming too. I AM OVER IT!!! Sigh. We've also been watching The Good Place. It's decent. I love Kristen Bell so I'll watch anything she does!
ReplyDeleteWe're in for more snow soon, too. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the movie A Wrinkle in Time better, too. I read the book last year to prep for the film and just didn't ever get into it.
I hope you like The Good Place! I love it. I need to start into Champions and Splitting Up Together soon, too!
I can't believe all the snow you've been getting up there. My friend in MN said they just got another 9 inches. No thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful I haven't gotten the type of snow you all are getting, but we are getting some and it's just annoying. I'm ready for some nicer days!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear your local burger/shake shop closed. I hate when a restaurant I really love decides to shut down. I used to go to this diner growing up and it was so good but they shut down and opened up some other (very different) type of restaurant.

Look at all that craft beer. My goodness! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to see A Wrinkle in Time but I wanted to read the book first, I've never read it. So, is the book worth the read or should I just go see the movie?
That recipe sounds delicious! How was it? I love World Market and I haven't been in ours in quite some time. Thanks for reminding me to make a stop soon! I am sure my wallet is jumping for joy.
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked in an office I remember having to move three times, all within just a few feet of each other. It was just silly.
ReplyDeleteI genuinely enjoyed the book A Wrinkle in Time, and I read it as an adult, not as a kid.
ReplyDeleteI've had students tell me the movie was "okay" even if they hadn't read the book. I think I'm good without seeing it...I heard they cut out some characters too?
